Looks like our friends Lawdawg and Dog-Killer are trying to raise funds for a new GunGame server. The issues have just gotten worse and worse, unfortunately, so it's time for an upgrade. However, upgrades cost money. Since we all play on and enjoy the server, we need to donate in order for this to happen. Head on over to the Official Donations Thread in the forums and vouch! Information regarding where to send and what-not is available in the thread. Let's raise enough money so that we can get a new server AND pay for at least a few months of usage! |

Loneicedragon has posted information for the 3rd mod night which will be occurring on August 9, 2008 at 8:00 PST - one week from this coming saturday. What are we going to be playing? Why, it's the cyberpunk mod Dystopia! The description sounds very interesting. Make sure you leave a comment in the forums letting us know you're going to be there. See you all there!

I just wanted to take the opportunity to remind everyone to get themselves added to the VWars database by clicking on the Join UGA button in the upper left-hand side of the website. This will allow you to be automatically logged into the main site so you can do cool things like leave me comments! You won't be able to do anything without getting yourself added to the database. | WOO! Thanks to Loneicedragon, our favorite clan pastime, Mod Night, has been revived! We've already had three mod nights, but it's going to start being a regular topic of posting around here, so I wanted to make sure that I got it on the front page ASAP. Last week we played the Insurgency mod, which turned out to be difficult, but fun. Head on over the the forums to get the latest and greatest! Look for threads related to Mod Night. Hello all! I'm Strages and I am the new news poster! I hope to start posting on a regular basis. I want to make the UGA main site the place for any UGA related news and other gaming-related information. Depending on what everyone wants to see, along with some ideas for regular posts that I will be discussing at a later date, I hope to make the UGA main page a regular stop for most UGA members. In this spirit, I have created an official email address for submitting news or front-page-worthy items that you would like me to make posts about. You are also welcome to PM me in the forums. You can submit news items to uganews@gmail.com. I have this address setup in my personal Thunderbird account, so I will receive submitted items within a few hours of submission. Please feel free to email this address with anything you think is main page worthy. I hope we can bring the main page alive again - together. Thanks! | UGA is mainly a casual playing clan on multiple-games. Currently Dani6 and SplinterCell are recruiting people in CS 1.6 and Source to keep some more active casual playing going in those games. | ||||
